WEDDING WEDNESDAY: HOW I ASKED MY BRIDESMAIDS

We’re six months away from the wedding and I’m so excited to have my bridesmaids by my side. Today I wanted to share with you all my DIY Bridesmaid gift box that I made to ask my bridesmaids to be in the wedding! I have a total of five bridesmaids, including my maid of honor. I wanted to ask them to be in the wedding with a keepsake box that they could use in the future to store photos, trinkets, and other special items. My wedding colors incorporate gold and ivory so I stopped by Michaels to find cute boxes. I came across the Paris themed box and fell in love!

Inside the box are a couple of trinkets for each of the girls. I placed a picture frame with a photo of the two of us for each girl inside the box, along with a ring pop, gold straws, chalkboard signs, and a gold letter that matched the first letter of each girls’ name. I also picked out bracelets for each girl and I’m looking forward to wearing those at the bachelorette party! Watch the video to see how I setup the DIY Bridesmaid box! I purchased all of the items for the bridesmaid boxes at Target, Michaels, The Dollar Tree, and Charming Charlie. After I asked the girls to be in the wedding, they posted these super cute photos with the bridesmaid boxes on Instagram and Facebook! I love these girls so much and it’s going to be so much fun spending my wedding day with my best friends!

I asked my cousin, Lauren, to be my maid of honor on the day I went shopping for my wedding dress. I’ll be posting about my wedding dress shopping experience soon!
