It’s been a while since my last wedding post, but I’m happy to say that our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Greg and I got married in December and I can’t wait to share all of the details with you!
I woke up on the morning of December 2nd and it was a beautiful day. We rented the bridal suite at the Terrace Hotel in Lakeland to get ready and it was so nice! My bridesmaids arrived in the morning and we all got to hang out with each other, listen to music, and just enjoy the moments together before the big ceremony.
I have to give a huge shoutout to my amazing makeup artist and friend, Lindsay from Lindsay Does Makeup. She did a phenomenal job with my wedding day makeup and all of the bridesmaids, plus my mom and aunt’s makeup. I seriously couldn’t believe that my makeup lasted the entire day, even with eating, dancing, and crying! I also love how my hair turned out. Holly from Collective Creations did such a great job taming my mane. There were so many bobby pins in my hair so I felt super confident that my curls would stay in place!
Greg was also at the Terrace Hotel getting ready in one of the other rooms with his groomsmen. His suit was from Calvin Klein and the gray color was so chic. I really love the photos that my best friends and incredible photographers, Mariana and Khaled Mosli of Kismis Ink Photography, captured of Greg while he was getting ready. He looked so handsome!
I got my Maggie Sottero wedding gown from a local boutique in Tampa, CC’s Bridal Boutique. I initially saw the dress on Pinterest and then when I went gown shopping, my stylist Courtney pulled it out for me to try on and I fell in love with the details on the dress. I picked out a beaded belt from an Etsy shop and paired my dress with silver jewelry. My boss Erik (who was also our officiant) got me a beautiful bracelet that I wore for the wedding and my mom got me an elegant and simple necklace that I also wore on the big day.
My bouquet was the most beautiful floral bouquet I’ve ever seen in my life. I was so impressed by Ana from Hannah’s Florals and Events work. She is a true artist and she completely surprised me with this stunning bouquet featuring such beautiful red and ivory shades of flowers.
Stay tuned for the next Wedding Wednesday update featuring photos from our first look and ceremony!
