I can’t believe that in less than two months, Greg and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary! The time has flown by and this year has been filled with lots of love and adventures! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite parts of our wedding day, the decor and details! Planning a wedding can be an overwhelming experience, but luckily I had my family and friends by my side during every step of the way, and expert advice from my amazing vendors. Big shoutout to my awesome wedding planner, Linda, for her design expertise and creativity!
You don’t have to spend a fortune on your wedding day, but finding those special details that really capture your love story and implementing them into the ceremony or reception can make all the difference. I think it’s really important to sit down with your significant other and discuss your must haves for your wedding day. Greg and I had slightly different opinions on wedding decor, but ultimately we agreed that romantic details like fresh flowers and gold accents like our chiavari chairs were the perfect decor additions to our reception.
I can’t tell you guys how much I loved my florals from Hannah’s Florals & Events. Ana is so talented at her craft and she did a phenomenal job at putting together the most gorgeous florals and decor for our wedding! I also have to give a big shoutout to Kristin at Kate Ryan Linens! Her table linens were absolutely stunning.
Your wedding day is the perfect day to showcase the little details that make you, you! For Greg, this included wearing camera cuff links! I opted to wear a lace gown for my wedding day because I loved the feminine details.
Another favorite detail from our wedding day has to be our wedding cake from Olympia Catering & Events. We ordered a four tier cake featuring gold accents and it was so delicious!
